Hi, I'm Bryn.

I’m a therapist with a background in both mental health counseling and law, which means I have a deep respect for how complex people—and systems—can be.

My work is grounded in the belief that people make sense in context. The ways you think, feel, and respond didn’t come out of nowhere—they were shaped by your relationships, your experiences, and what you’ve had to navigate over time.

Therapy is a space to understand those patterns with more clarity and less judgment.

I tend to work in a way that is:

  • relational and collaborative

  • insight-oriented

  • emotionally attuned, without being overwhelming

  • grounded, practical, and human

Clients tell me they appreciate having a space where they can be both serious and real—where difficult things can be talked about honestly, but not in a way that feels heavy all the time.

Before becoming a therapist, I trained and worked in legal settings. That experience continues to inform my work, especially with clients navigating high-pressure environments, complex systems, or roles where there isn’t much room to slow down.

I offer virtual therapy for adults and couples, with a focus on grief, trauma, relationships, anxiety, and work with high-achieving professionals and those connected to the legal system.

I’m also a certified premarital counselor through the Twogether in Texas program. Couples who complete premarital counseling may be eligible for a discount on their Texas marriage license—while also taking time to intentionally invest in their relationship and future together.

BRIDGING LEGAL EXPERIENCE AND MENTAL HEALTH CARE

Before becoming a therapist, I earned my law degree from Berkeley and worked within various corners of the legal system. This background allows me to connect deeply with attorneys, advocates, and other legal professionals who face unique pressures and expectations in their work. I understand the intense demands, long hours, and emotional complexities that often come with a career in law.

My legal training also means I am familiar with the structure and processes of the system itself. For clients navigating legal proceedings—whether criminal, civil, or family law—I can provide both therapeutic support and an informed perspective to help you manage stress, prepare for what’s ahead, and stay grounded during overwhelming situations.

In my work, I bring strong communication skills honed by my experience with legal writing, advocacy, and evaluation-based work for cases. Whether you’re seeking therapy to process the emotional toll of legal matters or are a legal professional needing a space to be seen beyond your role, I offer a judgment-free, understanding environment.

I believe therapy can be a place to build resilience, regain clarity, and reconnect with your authentic self—especially when your career or current circumstances demand so much of your energy. If you’re looking for a therapist who understands the intersections of law, stress, and mental health, I offer a space where you can feel understood, supported, and equipped to move forward.

Please note that my services are limited to psychotherapy. I do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or forensic services. This includes (but is not limited to) court appearances, custody evaluations, expert witness testimony, or involvement in legal disputes.
